Warehouse Inventory Specialist

The Right Stuff Detailing, an RPUI company, is seeking an Inventory Specialist to grow with us as an industry leading supplier of classic car restoration parts including a complete line of disc brake conversions and upgrades for American muscle cars, replacement brake components including master cylinders, boosters, proportioning valves, emergency brake cables, fittings, clips and more.

Job Summary

This position will be responsible for cycle counting in our lines department in a timely and accurate fashion. They will report into a SME every morning to the original list of items to count but will be responsible eventually for creating their own schedule for cycle counting. This person should have inventory management experience with a background in cycle counting. This person should also be comfortable in Quickbooks and Exel.

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to interpret, modify and/or summarize large spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel
  • Previous experience managing inventory
  • Previous experience with cycle counting, preferred
  • Experience using inventory management modules (Quick Books experience a plus)
  • Perform basic visual quality inspections on products
  • Utilize required tools as needed to perform duties

Physical Demands

  • May be required to stand for long periods of time
  • May involve some repetitive motions
  • May also engage in frequent bending, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts or containers
  • Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold

Machine Operator

The Right Stuff Detailing, an RPUI company, is seeking Machine Operators to grow with us as an industry leading supplier of classic car restoration parts including a complete line of disc brake conversions and upgrades for American muscle cars, replacement brake components including master cylinders, boosters, proportioning valves, emergency brake cables, fittings, clips and more.

We have full-time opportunities on our second shift for individuals with CNC bender or other machine operation experience or for those with basic manufacturing experience and a strong work ethic and desire to learn. Job requires basic mechanical and technical aptitude, proficiency reading a tape measure, proven reliability and be flexible to work hours outside of regular schedule including some Saturdays. Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Second shift hours: 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., shift differential. Must be able to train during the hours of 9:00a to 3:30p the first two weeks

Job Responsibilities

  • Works with speed and accuracy in a busy production operation
  • Must be good with your hands
  • Read and follow instructions on a job sheet
  • Load and operate CNC tube bender and final assembly
  • Load and operate flaring machine and final assembly
  • Visual inspection of bends compared to a sample
  • Includes manual Hand Bend & Flare when Needed
  • Maintaining a clean & safe work environment
  • 12 months of previous machine operator experience preferred, but will train the right individual

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

  • Must be good with your hands
  • Be able to read a tape measure
  • Knowledge of basic tool use

Physical Demands

  • May also engage in frequent bending, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts

  • May involve climbing a 10 ft rolling ladder to reach raw tubing materials

Warehouse Associate – Shipping Lines & Conversions

The Right Stuff Detailing, a leading supplier of classic car restoration parts, has available positions in our warehouse shipping department for Warehouse Associates. The Right Stuff is not your typical large warehouse environment. We are a small, growing company offering a complete line of disc brake conversions and upgrades for American muscle cars, replacement brake components including master cylinders, boosters, proportioning valves, emergency brake cables, fittings, clips and more.

Job Duties - Shipping Conversions:

  • Works with speed and accuracy in a busy warehouse operation
  • Stock and restock inventory as needed
  • Fold, assemble, label and tape packaging materials
  • Correctly selects, stacks on pallet, and labels product for shipment to customer
  • Visual inspection of products being packaged and reviewing picked products to ensure order completeness
  • Palletizing finished goods
  • Maintaining a clean & safe work environment
  • Package completed orders for parcel or freight shipment
  • 6-12 months of previous shipping, merchandising, stocking or related experience preferred
  • Forklift experience a plus

Requirements:

  • Must be flexible to work hours outside of regular schedule including some Saturdays. Overtime may be required based on business needs.
  • Excel in a fast paced, small production environment
  • Steel toe boots/shoes required in conversions
  • Follow all applicable safety requirements policies and procedures
  • Properly use required safety equipment
  • Participate in safety meetings as required
  • Possess a positive, team minded attitude.

Warehouse Receiver

The Right Stuff Detailing, an RPUI company, is seeking Warehouse Receiver to grow with us as an industry leading supplier of classic car restoration parts including a complete line of disc brake conversions and upgrades for American muscle cars, replacement brake components including master cylinders, boosters, proportioning valves, emergency brake cables, fittings, clips and more.

Job Summary

This position will responsible for receiving all orders at the property and at our offsite storage in Marysville. They will breakdown and consolidate pallets in order to ensure that we are using the space in the warehouse in the most effective manner. The receiver will also process all RMA’s from our customers. Other responsibilities will include cycle counting, warehouse consolidation/cleaning, and order picking.

These duties will require that the person be able to work a forklift. This person should also be comfortable using a computer. Experience with Exel and Quickbooks a plus.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK PERFORMED

Responsibilities

  • Assist phone and online customers with questions that vary from general parts inquiries and installation advice to technical questions about using our huge inventory of restoration parts
  • This is not an “order entry” position. This opportunity involves working within the Customer Service & Sales department to assist restoration enthusiasts and installation facilities who have needs beyond simply placing a catalog order

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong automotive knowledge and/or background
  • Classic car restoration knowledge
  • Technical aptitude and knowledge in automotive brake and fuel systems
  • High school diploma, GED
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of PC, Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience in a Call Center and/or Sales environment is a plus
  • QuickBooks software experience a plus, but not necessary
